At the Table is a different kind of digital food series, aimed at giving an accessible platform to game-changing individuals in the culinary scene to share their stories with the world. For our first season, we sought out inspiring people in the Washington, DC food scene—from restaurateurs and chefs to vineyard owners. I was asked to do some illustrations and animations for each episode introduction, as well as the end credits. Each restuarant has its own personality, which really allowed for unique illustrations and animations for all of the intro sequences. I focused on subtle movements to keep the attention on the name of each restaurant, but still bring some of the At the Table brand into each restuarant introduction as well.
